In deciding on this little adventure, we want to create a place where people are encouraged to take a breather; where they feel comfortable to browse and treat themselves to an item or two: knowing full well that each product is locally and consciously made.

Lighting a candle is a pure and simple form of self-care. The light that a candle flame emits is both mesmerizing and gentle and its scent takes this relaxation one step further as it captures not only our sight but also our sense of smell, enveloping us even further in the feeling of our calm memories. 

The idea of not being able to go anywhere or to anyone we love… crushes a soul. What we only have until then are memories of them. However, people say that a scent makes a memory come alive. Perhaps lighting a candle that smells like the ones your mother used to light brings you back to that feeling of being comforted and looked after, or back to a candlelit dinner on holiday. It is fascinating how different scents trigger different memories and tell a different story whenever and wherever you come across them.
